Participation in Indrajatra

Siddhartha Bank, New Road has participated in the Indra Jatra festival on September 15, 2016 in cooperation with Ganga Club, Kathmandu. Ganga Club is one of the oldest clubs of Kathmandu with around 100 members. The Bank has been participating in Indra Jatra celebrations in cooperation with  Ganga Club, for the last three years with a view to further enhance the Bank’s relationship with the local community and to enhance the brand visibility of the Bank amidst the local communities as well as visitors participating in the Indra Jatra.

The Bank had placed flex banners with social messages like “Sanskritik Dharohar Haru Ko Jagerna Garaun” , at different prominent locations of Basantapur Durbar Square, Kathmandu so as to raise awareness, among the visitors of the event, towards the conservation of the cultural heritages. The Bank had also distributed around 80 tshirts to the member and volunteers of the Ganga Club who had actively participated during Indra Jatra and had offered sponsorship worth Rs. 40,000 to the Club for preparation of Samay Bazi- an authentic, traditional dish of the Newar community prepared during the major festivities celebrated by the community.
