This type of loan is extended against the mortgage charge over the fixed properties by way of land/building to the persons who have adequate and regular source of income to meet the repayment installments and interest. The period of the loan is assessed on the purpose for which funds are required and the repayment capacity. Personal loan can be considered for a maximum period of 15 years.
